Serving Others

St Paul’s strives to embody the Five Marks of Mission of the Anglican Communion. They are our common commitment to God’s call to transform the world through loving service.

  • To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom
  • To teach, baptise and nurture new believers
  • To respond to human need by loving service
  • To transform unjust structures of society, to challenge violence of every kind and pursue peace and reconciliation
  • To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation, and sustain and renew the life of the earth

EM Tooth Memorial Home Ministry

St Paul’s has had a special relationship and ministry with the residents at Anglicare’s E M Tooth Memorial Home since its beginning. We share the space and worship at the Chapel but also share a commitment to growing as a community. Our Community Coordinator, Heidi Frier, works closely with Anglicare Coordinator of Spiritual and Pastoral Care, Deb Stengert, and the Lifestyle team to seek opportunities for connection and relationship building. A number of St Paul’s members volunteer to assist with pastoral visiting, activities and special events.

Mothers' Union

From helping people to read in Ethiopia to knitting tiny garments for prem babies: from running parenting programs to providing home-maker parcels to refugees; from supporting parish Family Workers to running family-related seminars in the community – these are just a few of the many projects of MU Australia.

Mothers’ Union Australia is a mission agency of the Anglican Church of Australia and part of the worldwide Mothers’ Union with links to 84 countries and over four million members who share one heartfelt vision – to bring about a world where God’s love is shown through prayer and loving, respectful and flourishing relationships.

St Paul’s has a strong and active branch of Mother’s Union and we invite you to explore their website which we hope will inspire and encourage you to support the vision and mission of Anglican Mothers’ Union Australia!

Peace, Justice, Reconciliation and Creation Care Group

  • The Diocesan Reconciliation Action Plan to build awareness of and connection with our First Nations People. Learn more.
  • Domestic Violence awareness and action. Learn more.
  • Environmental Awareness and Action including the Season of Creation in September leading up to St Francis Day Animal Blessing in early October. Learn more.
