A Savvy and Sassy Set of Servants
Last Sunday we gave a special blessing to Heidi Frier as she steps down from her significant role as our Community Coordinator and Liaison with E M Tooth Memorial Home.
We remembered that many amazing men and women have served in all sorts of paid and unpaid capacities with the life of the parish and sometime we may have missed acknowledging them properly when their ministry has come to a close. So we blessed Heidi as she moves into new challenges and joys, not just for herself but as a symbol of all who contributed time and talent to bringing the Gospel of Jesus alive in this place.
This pic snapped by crack photographer Stephen Hall shows just some of the amazing folk who have all served and continue to serve. These folk were responsible for a heap of the small logo symbols we placed on our Tree of Service at Thanksgiving Sunday a few weeks ago.
We are so proud that St Paul’s is service focused… not just for our own benefit but for the benefit of all God’s people…. In big and in little ways. A blessing indeed!
