TINGALPA PIONEERS CHAPEL & CEMETERY

Celebrating 156 years (1868- 2024)

Donna Turner, Vice President- Burial Warden / Administrator at Tingalpa

Pioneer Chapel and Cemetery writes:

Hi to my amazing ‘Village’ the Friends of the Friends.

Another year completed of our annual event in honour of the consecration of the land and remembering our Pioneers. 156 years since the beginning and many more to come. The committee and I personally thank you and all that you do on and off the grounds. Without your support our gates would close and the history would be lost for the next generations.

We had over 58 attendees join the working bee and music event. We raised over $700 which goes to the upkeep of the property. We now have 429 members on Facebook, over 120 members joined our group and over 40 graves have been adopted for care and respect.

Every action we do moves us in a stronger position of longevity.
Engage, Relate and Participate!!

Life is better when you connect.
So, I thank, YOU.
Bless. Donna
