And The Carousing Continues!
Advent is a time of quiet reflection, right???
Well let’s be honest, we do have to make moments like the profound Blue Christmas Service led by Fr Sam and Fr Andrew at St Peter’s or the upcom-ing Quiet Morning but its also our time for end of year celebrations and
festive events. Its been wonderful to join our partner communities for fun times. Our parish is geographically big and so its great to do things at the Tingalpa end. Fr Andrew was chuffed to be asked to help lead the Tingalpa Uniting Church Ecumenical Carols with Revs Dan and Bea Skippen… long time ministry friends. Shirley and Desley also represented the parish with joy.
One of the UCA elders from Tingalpa Judith Gray writes: “Just wanting to say a big THANK YOU to you for coming and sharing in our Carols. It was a blessing having your happy personality helping to lead the evening. May God bless you as you serve Him. We are very thankful to God for the families that came and pray that good things will happen in His kingdom. May God bless you as you serve Him.”
