Our Wonderful Plant Lady Provides!!
Dodging an oncoming storm, Ailsa, Isobel, Jen and Fr Andrew did a quick dash last week to pick up another batch of plants from our ever generous plant
lady, Anice Shane.
It would have been great to spend heaps more time perusing her glorious shade house but the dark grey storm clouds gave of their best as we just made it to cover before it pelted down. Anice has a mighty green thumb and ably helped by husband Peter has been growing marvellous things for decades. St Paul’s folk will know her well from the many plant stalls she has managed over the years.
Despite not moving as well as she would like, she still generously supplies magnificent bromeliads and other exotics for our monthly car boot sale. We are proud to say we believe we have the best quality at the best prices at Carindale. Last week saw folk walking around with huge sprays of Dancing Lady orchids going to their new homes. Anice says she thinks of us often and wishes us well.
We are so grateful for her generous heart and amazing green thumbs!
