Contemplating Creation
Braving a brisk wind and dancing kites in the hands of small children, our contemplative crew savoured the holy pause at our Season of Creation Stare at the Sea opportunity last Sunday. We managed to bag the shelter of a shed right next to the water’s edge and delighted in the awesome skill and determination of the Kite Surfers out on the Bay. Special permission was given to go “Ooh” and “Aah” as the jumps, mid air turns and racing along the waves certainly impressed. We were captured by the beauty of the white spray, the skill of folk and the fact that our windy discomfort was someone else’s pure joy.
