Regular Worship

Worship at St Paul's

We are proud members of the global Anglican community, honouring our rich heritage while actively seeking new ways to share God’s love. Our worship blends the timeless traditions of the past with a desire to respond to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in today’s world.

We cherish the beauty of traditional hymns and poetic language while also embracing the creativity of contemporary poets, musicians, and artists. Our services are filled with warmth and humour, offering a balanced mix of active participation and quiet reflection.

We deeply value our young people and strive to include and involve everyone as much as possible. We delight in the sounds of babies and little ones, enjoy sharing stories with our older members, and love engaging with the everyday experiences of life.

Regular Services

Each week there is a Eucharist on Sunday and a prayer gathering on Tuesday:

  • Sunday 9:30am – family friendly eucharist followed by tea, coffee and fellowship
  • Tuesday 9:30am – bible discussion and reflection followed by tea, coffee and fellowship

Other special services and resources are available in the Parish News

Our main Sunday gathering is to celebrate Holy Communion drawn from “A Prayer Book for Australia”.  We often refer to the Communion Service as The Eucharist – the Greek word for ‘Thanksgiving’.

All are welcome to receive communion: the consecrated bread we call the Host and the consecrated wine. A gluten free option is available on request. You are also welcome to not receive communion but to come forward for a blessing instead.

  • As a eucharistic community we give thanks as people both blest and broken… and nourished for God’s service in the world.
  • As a sacramental community we are encouraged by a sense of Jesus present among us – in the Scriptures; in the celebration of Baptism and Confirmation; in the sharing of bread and wine; and in the gathering and support of the community of faith.
  • As an incarnational community we rejoice in the presence of the Holy Spirit in all that lives and breathes, to heal, reconcile and draw everything to wholeness.

We regularly celebrate special occasions, feast days and the beautiful journey of Easter and Christmas. See announcements for details of special services.
